‘Tweeds with Style’ was started in 1998 by Fiona and Leslie Trotter designing and making bespoke garments in the world renown ‘Harris Tweed’. In 2012 they moved to Derbyshire for family reasons from Isle of Harris, Outer Hebrides Scotland.

In 2015 as part on the Made in Derbyshire campaign the Derbyshire Tartan was designed. So that it was a recognised tartan and to give it’s rightful place amongst the world of tartans it was registered with The Scottish Register of Tartans in Edinburgh.
